About Parents & Grandparents Sponsorship
The Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) is lottery-based: IRCC opens an Interest to Sponsor form and randomly selects sponsors. Income thresholds (MNI) apply for 3 prior tax years. The Super Visa is a 10-year multi-entry visa allowing extended visits as an alternative when PGP isn't available.

- Sponsor meets the MNI for 3 prior tax years
- Sponsor commits to a 20-year financial undertaking
- Parents/grandparents are admissible (medical, criminal)
